Cabrini Teaching Fellows spans three transformative years, each meticulously designed to cultivate and empower Catholic educators in distinct ways.

  • In the inaugural year Fellows embark on a journey of inspiration, unity, and fortification creating a solid foundation. 

  • Year two delves into personal, professional, and spiritual development. Fellows will undergo profound growth, honing in their skills as teachers, refining their character, and deepening their faith. 

  • Finally, in the third year, Fellows will transition into leadership roles, channeling their enriched experiences to guide the next generation of educators.

  • Will Fellows be paid during this three year period?
    Yes, all Fellows will be full-time teachers on the first day of school. This means they are also fully salaried employees of their respective schools.
  • Where will I be teaching as a Fellow?
    Fellows will be teaching at one of the many Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Denver. The specific school is strategically chosen to align with their strengths and offers ample room for personal and professional growth. The selection process prioritizes finding the most conducive setting where the Fellows’ abilities can flourish, in tandem with a mentorship that complements and enhances their teaching style. This thoughtful approach ensures not only a harmonious fit with the educational community but a trajectory where one can thrive and contribute meaningfully to their classroom and community.
  • Where will I live as a Fellow?
    Through partnerships in the Denver area, Cabrini Teaching Fellows has the unique opportunity to provide Fellows with low-cost, affordable housing in high-rent Denver. This housing situation is meant to relieve the burden of high rent costs and other stressors associated with the cost of living.
  • What training and support will Fellows receive?
    Cabrini Teaching Fellows is dedicated to the long-term growth of its Fellows, shaping exceptional Catholic educators and devoted followers of Christ. The program offers continuous development, with a comprehensive orientation at the beginning of the year and multiple retreats throughout for ongoing inspiration and growth. The mentorship program also ensures tailored guidance and support, fostering personal and professional development through regular check-ins. With access to affordable housing and wisdom to make life choices beyond the classroom, Fellows are part of a supportive community that guides them at every step of their transformative journey.
  • What does formation look like for Cabrini Teaching Fellows?
    Fellows with undergo comprehensive formation that emcompasses various dimensions of spiritual development. This includes regular Mass, spiritual retreats with dedicated moments for reflection and inspiration. Fellows will also attend the yearly Catholic Worldview Seminar. Additionally, Fellows will take part in the Summer Intensive, which offers an immersive experience equipping Fellows with essential skills and knowledge to contribute to Catholic school flourishing and formation in the Archdiocese of Denver.
